I started my permanent jewelry business in Spring 2023 after getting my very first permanent bracelet and instantly falling in love with the concept. I had always dreamed of owning a small business, so turning that inspiration into something of my own felt like the perfect fit. I loved the idea of creating timeless, meaningful pieces while also giving women a fun and memorable experience of their own. When it came time to name my business, Golden Hour Jewelry LLC (Golden Hour Jewelry Co.) seemed just right. Golden hour is the last hour before sunset and the first hour after sunrise, when the sun sits low in the sky and creates the softest, warmest light. Shadows are less harsh, highlights are softer, and everything seems to glow in the most beautiful way. I've always loved this time of day - especially summer sunsets, when the day is winding down, the sky turns golden, and everything feels warm, peaceful, and a little magical. The name felt especially fitting knowing that more than half of my jewelry pieces would be gold!
